{"id":1597,"date":"2019-06-18T13:52:28","date_gmt":"2019-06-18T13:52:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/?post_type=glossary_item&#038;p=1597"},"modified":"2019-06-18T13:52:28","modified_gmt":"2019-06-18T13:52:28","slug":"educational-framework-romania","status":"publish","type":"glossary_item","link":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/glossary\/educational-framework-romania\/","title":{"rendered":"Educational framework Romania"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Regarding the adult education in Romania, I was glad to announce in the DANET newsletter nr 6\/October 2016, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.danube-networkers.eu\/newsletter\/4-2-a-message-from-romania\/#more-1397\">http:\/\/en.danube-networkers.eu\/newsletter\/4-2-a-message-from-romania\/#more-1397<\/a> the foundation of the first Third Age University in Romania, namely in Galati. Until now, in May 2019, U3A Galati remained the only Third Age University in Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a lot of NGOs in Romania, involved in the\nadult education, as it can be seen on the list of Erasmus+ Romanian National\nAgency. Very important is the dissemination of the results of their work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the field of adult education, the NGOs are financed\nusually by European and international projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Association \u201cThe Writers` League\u201d Timisoara Banat\nBranch (LSFTB), founded in May 2010 in Timisoara, Romania, has taken part in\nEuropean projects since 2012 and participated at 7 international projects. LSFTB involved a very\nlarge number of people, especially seniors, in these projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LSFTB is formed of creators in the field of\nliterature, most of them professors and teachers, retired or in function. LSFTB\nencourages lifelong education projects by organizing social and cultural events\nfocused on developing art skills, with a strong intergenerational focus.&nbsp;The\nWriters` League Timisoara promotes conversation-based educational\nactivities and, since 2012 LSFTB has been having an\neducational partnership with the Theoretical High School \u201cVlad Tepes\u201c, named\n\u201cLiterature-bridge amongst generations\u201c, which develops the pleasure to enjoy\nbook launches, opens the gates of knowledge and friendship amongst pupils,\nteachers, poets, the stimulation of interest and curiosity on the world of\nbooks, using the intergenerational transmission&nbsp;\nof knowledge and values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Romania is on the last place in European Union at the adult participation rate in lifelong learning programs, according to data published by European Statistical Office (Eurostat) in May 2019.
