{"id":855,"date":"2019-04-12T11:00:32","date_gmt":"2019-04-12T11:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/?post_type=method&#038;p=855"},"modified":"2019-06-26T11:34:05","modified_gmt":"2019-06-26T11:34:05","slug":"practical-training","status":"publish","type":"method","link":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/method\/practical-training\/","title":{"rendered":"Practical Training in Computer and Internet Usage"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Main goals: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To create a new world which matches contemporary\nscience and new technologies achievements with personal competencies,\nknowledges, skills, experience, abilities and specific qualifications of old\nadults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To create conditions for intergenerational\nlearning aimed at computer searching and using information in education subject\nareas which are of interest to old adults from the Danube Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The subject areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Computer and Internet Usage.<\/li><li>Healthy Lifestyle.<\/li><li>Bulgarian and Foreign Cultural-historical Heritage &#8211; Travelling from the Past to the Future.<\/li><li>Solidarity between Generations &#8211; a Message to the Future.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stages:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 1: Selection of trainers \u2013university\nstudent volunteers and university experts in Informatics Education<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 2: Deciding on the main practical\ntraining topics according to the four subject areas which are of interest to\nthe old adults<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 3: Introducing the members of the\nUnion of Pensioners to the main topics of the practical training<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 4:&nbsp;\nSelection of 30 senior participants from different clubs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 5: Logistics <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 6: Delivering the practical training\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 7: Closing the training with\npresentations of the trainees\u2019 individual work <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 8: Getting feedback<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Outputs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 books on the DASUN project results in\nBulgarian and in English languages developed by the project researcher<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 scientific paper developed by the project\nresearcher and presented at a scientific conference <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many education materials and presentations,\ncollected and developed by the participants&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project website in English and German languages\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>University website in Bulgarian<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many reports developed by the project\nresearcher<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Provided the opportunity to the old adults to\nbe educated in a new world of contemporary science and new technologies, to\ndeepen their communicative competencies and to implement the newly-acquired\ncompetencies, knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities in new, meaningful\ntasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Developed university-based educational program\nfor continuing education of old adults and made it accessible to the public in\ncooperation with education and cultural heritage associations in the Danube\nregion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Built a basis for future co-operation and a\nnetwork of educational institutions and NGOs in the Danube region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Target group:<\/strong> old adults<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Age group:<\/strong> 55+<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gender:<\/strong> mixed<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":6,"template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-855","method","type-method","status-publish","hentry","keyword-active-ageing","keyword-civil-society","keyword-social-inclusion","keyword-third-age-education"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/method\/855","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/method"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/method"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/6"}],"version-history":[{"count":12,"href":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/method\/855\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1920,"href":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/method\/855\/revisions\/1920"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=855"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
