{"id":871,"date":"2019-04-12T11:07:54","date_gmt":"2019-04-12T11:07:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/?post_type=method&#038;p=871"},"modified":"2019-06-26T11:39:02","modified_gmt":"2019-06-26T11:39:02","slug":"seminar","status":"publish","type":"method","link":"https:\/\/bbe-toolbox.eu\/method\/seminar\/","title":{"rendered":"Seminar"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Main goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Performing comparative studies, analyses, preparation of reference\nmaterials, observations and recommendations on the problems discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To develop individual learning skills of older people for comparing and\nlearning about other countries and cultures, reflection on intercultural\ncompetences and their widening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To increase the participants\u2019 European awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The subtopics<\/strong> related to the topic of the river Danube and the Danube countries were: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The river as a pathway for people, goods and culture. <\/li><li>Traditions connected with life along the river Danube. <\/li><li>A bridge between the generations &#8211; Danube stories alive.<\/li><li>Telling life stories.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stages:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seminar is preceded by lectures on writing stories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 1: Giving the task of writing a personal memory story related to\nthe river Danube and the Danube countries and a number of formulated subtopics.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 2: Deciding on the most exciting personal story related to the river\nDanube and the Danube countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 3: Learning more about the time, society, living environment,\nhistory and cultural identity in Bulgaria and in other Danube countries<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 4: Writing a scenario and discussing the idea and the scenario\nwith an expert in writing stories<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 5: Searching and collecting supportive information and tools\n(interviews, pictures, photos, postcards, videos, art works, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 6: Preparing supportive materials<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 7: Describing the personal memory stories by the respective\nauthors<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 8: Discussing the story with an expert, friends and relatives<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 9: Conducting storytelling events and making changes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 10: Translating the written stories into a common project\nlanguage ( English)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 11: Uploading the stories on the project website <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 12: Deciding and publishing three of the most exciting stories\nin an album<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage\/Step 13: Use different events to present\nthe Danube stories such as: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>International seminars for exchanging of good practices in Ruse, Bulgaria, in Ulm, Germany; <\/li><li>exchanging of good practices with Bulgarian Red Cross;<\/li><li>Presenting Danube stories for the local pensioners\u2019 organizations.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Outputs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>56 written stories<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Danube Stories&#8221; album with three of\nthe most exciting writing stories of each project partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Book &#8220;Danube Stories&#8221; with\ninformation about all the cafes telling stories organized in Bulgaria under the\nDASTO project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scientific publication for DASTO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Web site of the project in English and German.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Website of the University in Bulgarian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many reports and presentations developed by the\nproject manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Encouraged creative expression of thoughts and\nfeelings on the topic of the river Danube and the Danube countries that had to\ndo with the older peoples&#8217;
