European Project \u201cBuilding Bridges for Europe\u201d \u2013 Ideas and inspiration for educators and committed Europeans<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Within the Erasmus+-partnership \u201cBuilding\nbridges for Europe\u201d (BBE) nine project partners of six European countries (Germany,\nBulgaria, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia and Italy) created an online\ntoolbox containing proved and tested methods and projects, which support\nEuropean awareness, and critical thinking and help reducing prejudices about\nothers.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project partners\nhave worked very hard for two years to analyse and provide \u201cbest practice\nprojects\u201d. The result can now be seen online: www.bbe-toolbox.eu<\/a>. The toolbox contains\n27 projects and methods that are easy to call up and to be applied. The accumulated knowledge is\navailable free, to all people who are interested to make use of the applied and\ndescribed methods. It\ninspires its users to\npromote new methods in further education, especially for older adults, women, low-educated\npeople, people from rural areas, migrants, etc. focusing on fostering European\nawareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the project\nduration, the partners strengthened\ntheir working relations, exchanged experience and expertise in the provision of\neducational offers in their countries. The project partnersagreed upon\ncontinuing the European cooperation in the field of socially engaged education\nfor the Third age and continue to develop their intergenerational collaboration.\nThe Project Coordinator was ILEU e.V, Ulm, Germany and partners ZAWIW, Ulm\nUniversity Germany, University of Ruse Angel Kanchev, Bulgaria, LSFTB – The\nWriters` League Timisoara Banat Branch, Romania, Federation of the Universities\nof the Third Age in Italy (FEDERUNI), Public Open University Zagreb, Croatia,\nSlovenian Third Age University, Agora-Platform, Sofia, University Dunarea de\nJos from Galati, Romania. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
