José Luis Casal Devesa
My name is José Luis.
I was born in Santiago de Compostela (Galicia).
I grew up in Santiago, then I sailed for 12 years as a merchant marine engineer. After that, I “landed” to lecture marine engineering at the Politécnico Marítimo Pesquero in Alicante.
Concerning the project, I am specially interested in the study of some of the most current stereotypes about Spain, such as cruelty to animals, folk music and gastronomy.
I would like you to know something else about my country other than the basic stereotypes: “bullfighting, flamenco and paella”.
