Einleitung
Stand:
The decision to change one's accommodation is usually a difficult one, what with the many practical, personal and emotional consequences; aspects such as new surroundings and financial possibilities do have a great influence and many elderly people have lit le insight in aspects that may influence their choice, as well as in the existing possibilities such as: more suitable accommodation and the adaptation of their present accommodation.
Apart from this the question remains:
- - Whether the supply of accommodation in the Arnhem area is sufficient in accordance with the demands of the seniors.
- - whether in the future there will be sufficient social support to meet the demand of the expanding target group of seniors regards suitable accommodation and their individual care.
Aim of research
The aim of this research is to clarify the problems, as stated earlier, by producing an inventory of some aspects that play a role in the process of taking decisions. A report will then be produced of the results. Should it appear from the inventory that there is a discrepancy between supply and demand, this will be then reported and brought to the attention of those authorities that can deal with the matter on hand.
