Stand:
The communication with the international partners went mainly through the
co-ordinators, in English of course. The lack of interest in the “Multilingual
forum” from the foreign partners at that time, made me sad. Of course, the forum
was not easy to use, there were many problems, but with a bit of effort on part
of the other seniors groups, the problems could have been overcome.
After the Ulm meeting it was already time to work on the final products. The
meeting in Ceske Budejovice made finally many things clear to me, especially
that every partner had started the project in a different way, with a lack of
information about the approach of the other partners. These differences were
determined not so much by language, but due to differences in culture which can
not be ignored. This meeting made also clear that the partners were ready to try
out the “Multi-language Forum”, but more perfected, and would use it in the next
project.
Personal Conclusions:1 - A rich and useful experience, due to the exchanges with the other members
of our group, but also with those of the other international partners.
2 - Thanks to this European Socrates-Grundtvig Project, I have finally
acquired a basic knowledge of new technologies for communication, and find
myself able to communicate by Internet with other members of the European Union,
and even more than that.
3 - The final results, with the information from the international partners,
will provide me with ideas to continue the exchanges between European partners
in future projects.
Final Thanks:I do thank everybody, I have been working with this last one-and-a-half year,
thanks to all of those whom I had contact with during this time, for their
kindness, their help and their understanding. Especially those who have received
me during the international meetings. I do not mention names, because they were
so many and I am afraid I might forget someone.
