Summary of ResultsStand:1.Seniors work in the way of „learning through research“, this means: self-determined learning = active participation and the right to have a say. To what extent was this goal achieved? All students’ groups consider the goal of working in the way of “learning through research” - self-determined learning with active participation of seniors as having been achieved. This method was found motivating and challenging. A great degree of efficiency was achieved. The self-determination increased with time during the project. The effect on group dynamics was positive. Difficulties were experienced at the beginning during a rather slow process of finding own working ways and getting consensus on matters with partner groups which led to delays (Ulm). Noted was the important role of the co-ordinator (Granada) and expressed was a wish for advice from persons experienced in this type of work (Lyon). Suggestions included greater concretisation of work subjects and allowing sufficient time for the groups to form themselves. |
