Summary of Results

Stand:

5. Did you get the support you needed for your work with the new communication media?

5.1.Advice and training in the use of e-mail and forum
All groups have received good support in the use of the Internet and e-mail, through external tutors and self-help. However, the direct personal contact still remained the favourite by some (Vicenza). Suggestions for improvement have included: longer training sessions and working with younger students who are used to using these media.

5.2. Advice and training of the use of the Internet (i.e. research)
Good training was provided to all groups either through external tutors or self-help. Some groups did not find necessity for Internet research (Lyon). Suggestion for improvement included: having own computer at home, providing links of interest to the project, more courses at the University.
