The Group

Stand:

The seniors from the project partner group in Lyon

Anne-Marie Bourgeois

Born in 1940, married, 3 children, 1 grandson. Ex-teacher in Physical sciences in primary school and secondary school. Very interested by
* international exchanges and more particularly European (I participated in the twinning of the secondary school where I taught with a Rumanian secondary school, one of our threads makes some search in medical imagery in Great Britain, one of our daughters-in-law is German)
* all which touches immediate environment (when our children were small, I stopped teaching and made a mastery of regional development; for 20 years my husband and I live with two friendly families in a house in Croix-Rousse, (district of Lyon classified in the world patrimony of Unesco in 1998)
My motivation is so very big to participate in this project of European exchange on the subject of the environment, housing and public places.

Roger Rebord

Born in 1939 - Retired.
Varied experience in exploitation, commercial, management control, credit, dispute in marketing oil productions.
Objective: to maintain my capacity of adaptation and communication by the practice of activities connected to the computer.
Another centre of interest: genealogy.

Antoine Sanchis

61 years, and retired (which unpleasant word!) for 18 months. My wife works in the University of Lyon and my son (dental surgeon) lives in New Caledonia, at 23 o'clock of plane. If one adds that I am an engineer and that during 35 years I did not stop going through the world for the industrial Group which makes trains TGV, etc., you will understand that my passion is to communicate and to organize, especially when a "challenge" is in game. The project which gathers us corresponds to these criteria, it seems to me! And I did not resist to the temptation to share the responsibility of it with Jacques WATTIEZ and Hervé BRUNI.

Guy Vattepin

Born in 1934, married, I have 3 children and 5 children. I am retired since 1994.
My professional life took place mainly in the industry of the petroleum, in the "research and development" domain.
I participate actively in the municipal and associative life of my municipality of the suburb of Lyon.
My others interests are mainly literature, listening of the music as well as spectacles and more particularly theater.
For several years, holidays summer happen in family to travel through Europe, of which we visited the major part of countries.
Participation in our project has to allow to widen in Europe our need of social life and communication.

Jacques Wattiez

I was born in 1938. I am married, I have two married girls and 4 grandchildren.
My professional career was made altogether in the private industry, where I occupied leaders' posts of factories at first, then subsidiaries of groups of average size.
During my adolescence then later in my professional life, I had always and maintained contacts with Germany and Germans - as well as with the other countries of German language. I am so of long date, a convinced European. That is why, I am very happy to participate again in an European program allowing Seniors of six countries to have a dialogue among them on subjects of our society.

Hervé Bruni

I was born in 1963 and I grew in the suburb of Lyon (Villeurbanne, Meyzieu, Lyon-Vaise, Caluire).
My career is varied. At first oriented to the economy, the laws and the management (IUT of management, Faculty of Law and History) I am reconverts in the social sector by alternating periods of formings and practice "on the ground".
Educator with handicaped young children, I am interested in human sciences and in 1997, I support a thesis of psychology about psychological rhythms and cycles of life.
Passionate person of data processing, I use the Internet since the beginning in France. At present lecturer in the UTA of Lyon, I try to share my practice to the public Senior in participant in the development of the use of these new information technologies and the communication (which are already not any more so 'news' than it ;-)

Bert Van Aggelen

Born in 1938, in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Dutch nationality, for 26 years in France. Married. Professional life in businesses and international transport. I travelled on all the points of the globe. Speaking about 5 languages, European of heart, I am very happy to participate in this project. By the way, I greet specially the group of Arnhem and I hope to have with them fruitful contacts.
