59% are women (41% have some previous knowledge about the Internet and know how to use it).
- 53% use it between 1 and 2 hours per week;
- 30% use it between 2 and 5 hours per week;
- 17% use it between 5 and 10 hours per week.

- 12% use it between 5 and 10 hours per week;
- 21% use it more than 10 hours per week.
WHY DO THEY CHOOSE INTERNET?
- To obtain information. To search.
- For E-mailing.
- To keep up-to-date on new technology and the Internet.
- To learn.
- To co-operate in projects and hobbies.
WHY DON’T THEY USE THE INTERNET?
- They find it difficult to use.
- Internet is slow and there are many problems due to the over-crowding.
- Computers and Taxes are too costly.
- Time-table of use. When the Internet’s tariffs are cheapest, it is far too late for them or it’s a holiday (Saturdays and Sundays). They prefer to share their time with their families.
