“What has the SOLiLL project meant to me?”
|
Ricardo Altamirano |
“When I initially became involved in the project I already had the conviction
that I would have positive outcomes for me. The challenge of the project and the
fact that we were to work in groups were very appealing motives to me. Moreover,
the possibility to communicate with persons from different cultural contexts and
confront their communicative styles with mine was as well another reason to
become involved.
Along the project and through the implementation of activities such as work
scheduling by group members, visiting public bodies to search information,
interviewing people from different social classes, and using the new
technologies, I have been able to assess my own capacity to keep on researching
in future projects. SELF-ESTEEM is the most appropriate word to define what this
project has meant to me. My self-esteem has increased because of the project,
which has helped me to become aware of how many possibilities of action I do
have at this stage of my life. THANK YOU.”
