Bread in Life and Art

Stand:

Moulding dough for artistic purposes

Ingredients:

1 large pan loaf, 1 large cup of white size , 1 spoonful of glycerine, 2 spoonfuls of "porcelanizador".(All of these ingredients are very cheap, and easy to find in the shops).

Preparation:

remove the soft inside part of the bread, and shred it finely. Then add the size, mixing it well with the fingers inside a large bowl. Add the glycerine and the , and mix well until it is a compact dough which does not stick to the fingers. It can be kept for a short time wrapped in plastic, or covered with a damp cloth.

Crust:

Using the same method, an excellent dough can be made with the crust. This dough is dark, thus permitting an artistic combination of the two.
