Abstract: It is important for the old people to have computer skills to be useful for their self and for the society. From 1.12.2010 until 30.07.2011 a pilot project lead by the Center of General Academic Continuing Education (ZAWiW) of Ulm University, Germany, was implemented. A team at the State University for Librarianship and Information Technologies decided to make presentations and demonstrations, showing the advantages of IT skills for searching for everyday information needed by the adults 50+ to solve some of their problems connected with communication, health and others. We made also a training for a group of old people how to search for the required information. We gave them also leaflets with useful practical information about health, what to do in a free time, what sport to play etc. In the leaflets we put also Internet addresses on these themes. read more (Bulgarian)
