Abstract: Nowadays libraries implement the modern management mechanism to adapt to the complex of economic, political and social changes. Particularly important are communication and education functions of the library that actively interacts with all target groups of readers. The report summarizes the best practices of Bulgarian libraries to serve readers aged 50+. Treated successfully applied techniques of public communication, completed projects, new forms of library services and resources, interactive methods of interaction with the target group.
