Paul Gilliver

Paul Gilliver is a married self-employed Chartered Accountant now professionally working less actively.  Student of Italian at Senior Studies Institute since 2005. Interested in live music of all kinds. Also enjoy country walking and staying in touch with our three grown up children. Memberships of National Trust for Scotland and of Historic Scotland reflect interest in built heritage.

In terms of voluntary work he  was the past treasurer of Coatbridge CAB, Past chairman of Langloan Primary School Board, Chairman of Finance Committee and member of Board of Management, member of Executive and Corporate Development Committees, all of Coatbridge College. Examiner of accounts of 3Ls Association, past Secretary of The Art Lover’s House Trust. Examiner of charity accounts of Monklands Talking Newspaper.

He would like to have a greater awareness of how things are done in other societies and to engage in cultural exchange, building on valuable knowledge gained through attendance at the International Senior University in Majorca and Ibiza in 2009 and 2010. Also attended the Lifelong Learning World Conference in CLL Glasgow in 2006.
