Dorothy Moore

Dorothy Moore is a retired television subtitler.  She occasionally used German in her work and can translate written German and also has knowledge of Spanish.

She studied German at Glasgow University for three years and also completed a certificate in Spanish at evening classes at Glasgow University about 20 years ago.

On the volunteer front, she walks a dog once a week for a lady who is not in good health and also teaches German to some retired people locally.

From this project she hopes to be involved in translating stories of volunteering and is keen to do something useful with the German and Spanish she has learned.
