Lynda Scott

Lynda Scott is project coordinator in the Centre for Lifelong Learning of the University of Strathclyde. She works within the Senior Studies Institute delivering a variety of adult learning projects.   She has a Masters in Human Resource Management. She enjoys working with people and in particular assisting people to reach their potential and find work in the labour market.  Lynda is 38 years old.

She does not have any personal experience of voluntary work but is interested in volunteering.  She is currently involved in developing an Intergenerational Mentoring programme to support 5th and 6th year students in a Glasgow secondary school, where older adults provide one to one support on a voluntary basis to pupils who are working towards their exams.

From this project she hopes to learn more about voluntary work across Europe and to find out about best practices within voluntary work.
