The e-meeting bridge between Barcelona and Slupsk

Yet another e-net meeting with Spaniards.

On 9th of May the volunteers from  SUTW, have enjoyed another meeting with their
partners to the TELL ME ABOUT YOUR COMMITMENT Project from Barcelona on the
Skype –net. The leading theme of the meeting was double. First to present thelatest activities
in the way of voluntarian work “in the field” and then to talk  on the expected meeting in Vienna. Gianni Orsini on behalf of Barcelona and Nelly  Czupajlo on behalf of Slupsk respectively presented the ideas for that meeting.
The Spaniards ( Aziz and Marta ) talked about their work among immigrants from African countries, helping them to find a shelter,  a job and a training which is often a crucial factor  at all.
Participants from Barcelona mentioned as well about their voluntarian work within the cooperative
which deals with eco-victuals in the Barcelona region.
The Poles ( Nelly, Urszula and Jerzy) presented their latest activity among school children and about their organizing work as the core activity, among the members ( there is around 200 of them and still rising ) of Slupsk University. The University of Third Age in Slupsk gathers pensioners from and around Slupsk, who in their persuit to fill in ”a free time” depend very much on activities organized by University itself. For this reason, there is a number of interest groups with their own programme lead out according to preferences and expectations of its members. The whole organizing work is  performed as voluntary.
