The Grundtvig Partner Meeting in Glasgow through the camera eyes.

The Grundtvig Partner Meeting in Glasgow through the camera eyes.

Last month The Strathclyde University in Glasgow has been a meeting point for all the partners to the Grundtvig Project;
“Tell me about your  commitment”. Our successive meeting in Glasgow, I may say, was a fruitful event filled with workshops and intensely discussions. I should not forget the extra time dedicated to visit to The Hub Community Cafe
and a short walk but still around the University Compound.
I shall be proud to say that I had a unique chance to look at the busy City of Glasgow with its Strathclyde University in the
downtown and the Loch Lomond more up the country.
The visit to Glasgow had its main features; the heated  discussions related to voluntary activity at the Strathclyde
University and exemplary voluntary work in the Community Centre.
Thank you for having us in Glasgow.

Some of my impressions from the visit are enclosed in the presentation (ppt 2007) and I shall be grateful if you look at it.

    Dear Jerzy

    It was good to see you again in Glasgow in March and to meet Nelly, Renata and the other members of your group. We were delighted that everyone could join us at ‘The Hub’ Community Cafe in East Kilbride on Thursday 22nd and that you especially enjoyed the music by ‘Duo Concertante’ that afternoon.

    Thank you for sending us such a great selection of photographs of your visit to Scotland – I have run them off and will be showing them to my friends at The Hub on Thursday. I am glad that the sky was blue when you all arrived in Glasgow and that it stayed that way for the duration of your visit!

    Best wishes to you all in Slupsk!

    I only attended one day of the meeting in Glasgow but your photographic record of the event is excellent. You have some superb views of Glasgow city.

  3. Dear Jercy am so glad you enjoyed the Hub, because of other commitments I couldnt go the Hub that afternoon so – do you know what I did? I went today! it was great fun going along and seeing the actual Hall after seeing your photos of the event that you attended! it was really busy and my favourite bit was the Apple pie, oh my it was delicious! we had a full Dance Band playing for us and some of the people had a wee dance. I am sorry I could not come with all of the delegates last month so this was a good compensation! hope you are all well and thanks again for all your fabulous photos, am so glad you enjoyed yourselves. (today you would see Loch Lomond with no mist! it is 27 degrees, the hottest part of Scotland!)yours sincerely Mana Hazlett :)
